A CSR/ESG education – what exactly is that all about?

We have already told you about our new CSR Assistant Education – and we have so much more to tell!

Because yes, it is a mix of theory and practice.

But theory is a big word.

So we would love to explain a bit more about what theory the education covers.

The first week of school

The very first week of the course takes place in “school”.

During this week, we will talk about different CSR topics:

  • The history of CSR: where are we now, how did we get here, and why did we have to go here?

  • Sustainability legislation: present and future regulations.

  • The ESG elephant (a checklist for ESG topics) and card house (a tool to prioritize the ESG efforts in your company).

Of course, all the theory will be sprinkled with real-life cases.

One day will also be dedicated to finding out how the student can enter the company best and making an action plan.

Following this, the students spend the next week with the company (with support from us, naturally), and then return to school for week three.

Second week of school

The third week of the course is the second week of school.

This week will be characterized by data analysis based on the data gathered during the last week.

With a new action plan and knowing how to use the data, which data is missing, and what to look into, the students will be ready to spend the rest of the course with the company.

So after this week of school, you’re on your own, kid…well, no you’re not, of course.

We will be right by your side (virtually speaking) and available to call every week for support.

The last two weeks are exam weeks, where the students get both a chance to see how much they have learned AND a diploma – a win-win!
