About Sustaina Company
I have always considered myself the Trojan Horse, who creates changes from within companies, rather than shouting at them from the outside. It is very important for me to build knowledge within companies to manage CSR/sustainability on their own. Creating Trojan horses in every little company, so to speak. – Anne Katrine Blirup, Founder of Sustaina Company
Back when it all started
When we first started Sustaina Company
Our founder, Anne Katrine toured the danish fashion industry with a small and free program, called “How to eat an elephant”.
She wanted to share her knowledge on sustainability and help companies get started with their implementation.
However, she soon found out that as sustainability and CSR is an ever-changing and evolving phenomenon, that changes as we all grow wiser and new scientific discoveries are made, she also had to update her program regularly.
The story behind the elephant
The program had to be updated regularly and she was still meeting people and companies who needed help every little step of the way.
As a consequence, she decided to expand and develop the program to make it as thorough and updated as possible, still using the succesful and doable step-by-step approach.
The elephant approach was born! The approach has now helped and is still helping a long line of companies in the fashion and lifestyle industry.
