What should be on your sustainability agenda in 2025?

It’s 2025 and we’re ready to get serious and your hands dirty - or maybe green is a better word. Are you too? Or are you more or less overwhelmed by all the directions you can go and things you can do?

Honestly, who wouldn’t be?

To help you with your 2025 sustainability agenda, we’ve gathered 5 points that you should definitely include if you haven’t already.

We of course wouldn’t tell you to do stuff that we couldn’t confidently help you with.

Check out the links under each point to read about what we can do!

#1 Ready, set, go!

If you’re still considering and preparing and discussing, now’s the time to take an actual step.

Because the more you’re waiting to get started, the more you’ll fall behind.

We understand that budgets can be tight and that ESG doesn’t make you money right this instant.

But seeing that sustainability is an increasingly competitive advantage, soon it’ll cost you to hold back.

And before you know it, legislation will mandate it.

#2 Co2 accounting is the new black

We’re seeing more and more companies calculate and report on their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

If you haven’t done it yet, then you should definitely move it to the top of your list for 2025.

It’s included in the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) for the CSRD, and in the voluntary standards for SMEs (VSME), it’s actually also part of the data requirements.

You can always start with Scope 1 and 2 and work your way toward Scope 3.

#3 No one greenwashes anymore...

...or maybe you (unintentionally) are?

Have you screened your communication channels – website, social media, hangtags, etc. - for greenwashing recently?

Maybe you’re using green colours or other visuals that can mislead consumers.

That’s a no go – both according to the Danish Consumer Ombudsman but also the EU (see the Empowering Consumers Directive).

So, a greenwashing screening should probably be on your list as well.

#4 One word, four letters: Data

Collect data.

That includes data on materials (weight and composition), sub-materials, accessories, suppliers, etc.

It’s actually the best thing you can do for yourselves.

Because the data is the foundation for everything else ESG-related that you can do.

#5 Get sustainability experts on the case

A little self-promotion never hurt anyone.

But in all seriousness, we know many companies don’t have the resources to spare for ESG.

And these tasks can be difficult and time consuming.

That’s why we are here.

So, if you recognized yourselves when we mentioned considering and preparing and discussing ESG, why not take that first step by reaching out to us?

Starting the conversation doesn’t cost anything.
